A monumental force.
Tectonic refers to the processes and forces involved in the movement and structure of the Earth's crust, particularly in relation to tectonic plates. These plates shift and interact, leading to geological phenomena such as earthquakes, volcanic activity, and the formation of mountains.
Tectonic is a powerful metaphor for a gathering of female tech leaders because it evokes the image of monumental forces reshaping the landscape. Tectonic plates, though often unseen, drive significant shifts that define the world's geography—just as women in tech leadership are driving transformative changes in an industry historically shaped by different forces.

About the Summit

What You Can Expect
Flipping the Script on Panels
It’s important to hear from the next generation. Often we present to women who aspire to tech. Let's hear from them. Students, recent grads and career pivoters.
Getting REAL
"Let's just be positive." It's great to inspire, but to affect change, we must share our stories and lived experience. We cannot change what we don't understand.
Thought Leadership
Often we do not see women on Tech panels or on stages discussing "the tech." We'll flip this and come together to address challenges that keep female tech leaders up at night.
Action Planning for Leaders
Inviting male allies/leaders to the table to discuss how to address culture within tech organizations so everyone is contributing to tech's bottom line: innovation!

Women in the tech industry often face unique challenges, such as gender bias, lack of mentorship, and a lack of access to leadership opportunities.

Women in the tech industry often face unique challenges, such as gender bias, lack of mentorship, and difficulty balancing work and family responsibilities. This tech summit aims to empower and support female tech leaders by providing a platform for networking, learning, and sharing best practices.

Representation matters, still.
This representation highlights the groundbreaking nature of our work, suggesting that that collaboration and innovation are creating seismic shifts in technology, culture, and leadership. Like tectonic activity, the impact may start beneath the surface but ultimately results in visible, lasting transformations—building new structures, breaking barriers, and forging pathways for future generations. It symbolizes strength, movement, and the unstoppable energy of collective leadership shaping a dynamic and evolving future.

Sixty years after passage of the Civil Rights Act of 194, there is a high degree of underrepresentation and a disturbing lack of career advancement for female, Black, and Hispanic workers in the high tech workforce, despite the recent period of growth in high tech occupations. America’s high tech sector, which leads the world in crafting technologies of the future, should not have a workforce that looks like the past.
